Evolv Health’s e84 Fuel Challenge is the first challenge that I have decided to put to the test! Below is a short description of what we can expect from the e84 Fuel Exercise program as stated on evolv.exercise.com
Fuel84 is a health and wellness program designed for those who want to improve their fitness, lose a little bit of weight, increase their energy, decrease their risk of heart disease, osteoporosis and cancer and improve their overall health. This program is particularly beneficial for people who are new to fitness or who have less than four days per week to dedicate to their exercise regime.
What to Expect:
When you start the Fuel84 program you will have the opportunity to choose a specific fitness goal that is related to the outcomes of this program. Once you have chosen your goal and answered a few preliminary questions, a personalized program will be developed that is based on your goal, current activity level, equipment available and exercise history.
Fuel84 programs are balanced fitness programs designed to improve all aspect of fitness including, cardio, strength training, and flexibility. All the exercise programs use a safe, gradual progression to take you to your fitness and health goals. In some cases, this may mean that your program does not match up with your answers to the initial questionnaire. For instance, if you have never exercised or you have not exercised in over a year the program will only let you exercise 2-3 times per week for the first month for a limited time period even though you may want to do more and have the time to do more. This is done to limit the amount of soreness that you experience. It also allows your ligaments, tendons and other connective tissue a period of time to get used to activity so that you do not develop chronic overuse injuries which could affect your ability to follow a program in the future.
