Its day 4 and a “rest” day, so I have decided to upgrade my Evolv Exersciz program.  As I stated in a previous post I was not feeling very challenged with the original circuit that was designed for me by the website.  Here is a break down of the Original Program that was designed for me…

Evolv Exsciz Solutions 3x per Week Circuit

All of the following exercises are to be completed at a circuit with 8 reps per exercise with weight that I am able to complete 10 reps but not more (I want to challenge the muscle without exhausting it).   I will also need to complete this circuit 3x with a 2 min rest between sets.

Exercises:  All exercise are to be completed in the following order

  1. Alternating Dumbbell Bench Press
  2. Straight Arm Pull Down
  3. Walking Lunges
  4. Plank with Leg Raise
  5. Good Mornings

I found this program to feel incomplete so I have created the following routine which will still be completed as a circuit, with 3 sets, but I increase the repetitions to 12x with a weight that I can complete 14 reps with

  1. Alternating Dumbbell Bench Press
  2. Lat Pull Down
  3. Shoulder Press
  4. Straight Arm Pull Down
  5. Bicep Curl
  6. Walking Lunges
  7. Plié Squats with Dumbbell
  8. Plank with Leg Raise
  9. Lower Back Extension
I feel that this is a more complete program targeting both major and minor muscle groups!  I will let you know how it goes…
